The booking buffer can be set to prevent attendees from making back-to-back bookings, which are time slots that are immediately before or after their existing bookings. This gap can be configured to a specific number of time slots.
📄️ Booking length
The booking length is the amount of time allocated for each booking in minutes, such as 15 minutes parent-teacher conferences.
📄️ Booking limits
The attendee booking limit helps prevent people booking multiple time slots for a staff member, ensuring everyone gets a fair chance of seeing who they need to see.
📄️ Booking open/close dates
Events have an opening date and a closing dates used to control when attendees can make their bookings, for example between 3pm Monday and 5pm Friday.
📄️ Event codes
Every event created in is assigned a unique event code. This code is between 8 and 10 letters and numbers, and is used by attendees to access your event.
📄️ Event dates and times
Events are made up of dates and times that are bookable by attendees. An event can have one or more dates that are made up of time blocks. Each time block is made up of slots, determined by your booking length.
📄️ In-person vs online events
When setting up your event, you can choose to have either an in-person or online event. Online events allow you to distribute meeting URLs (such as Zoom personal meeting URLs) to attendees.
📄️ Shared time slots
Shared time slots allow your staff to see multiple attendees at once, rather than a one-on-one booking.

A time slot represents a moment in time for an event that can be booked by a parent or caregiver.
