Staff
Staff in Parent Interviews represent people belonging to your school or organization. Staff can have different levels of access depending on their role.
Viewing staff
Once you've signed into Parent Interviews, visit the Staff section in the main menu to view all staff associated with your account. You must be an Administrator to manage staff.
Inviting a staff member
To invite a staff member to your Parent Interviews account, visit the Staff section and click the Add a Staff Member button. You'll be able to choose the level of access that the staff member has to your account.
Once added, we'll email them with instructions on how to activate their account and set a password.
Who should be added
- Staff who'll be bookable for parent-teacher conferencing events.
- Event managers who'll be creating events or performing actions on behalf of caregivers, such as your leadership team or receptionists for taking phone bookings.
- Staff who need access to manage billing information, such as your financial controller.

Updating a staff member
To update the information for a particular staff member:
- Visit the Staff section in the main menu.
- Click on the name of the staff member you need to update.
- Make any necessary changes.
- Click Save.
Updating the default room or meeting URL for a staff member won't update any active events, as these fields are only used when the event is first created. You'll need to visit the Staff seciton within the event and double-check the event has the correct information.
Removing a staff member
To remove a single staff member, go to the Staff section and click on the trash icon next to the staff member to delete.
When you remove a staff member, they will no longer be able to log into Parent Interviews and any data associated with their events will be removed.
Removing all staff
As an administrator, you can remove all staff from your account from the Reset Data section within the Settings section.
Removing staff cannot be undone, so double-check that you're removing the correct staff member.

Staff Groups are a way for attendees to book multiple staff members at once. They can be added to your parent-teacher conferencing events, and any bookings for the staff group will appear on the timetable of each staff member in the group.

When you have a large amount of staff to invite, we recommend using the Import tool in the Staff section.
📄️ Resetting a password
Staff can reset their password from the sign-in page by clicking the Forgot Your Password link. We'll send an email to the email address entered with further instructions if an account exists.
